The River Thames, the second longest river in the UK, has many stories to tell. In this two-centre short break we reveal many stories as we take four very different, but equally relaxing cruises. These cruises call at Oxford, Henley-on-Thames, Kew, central London and Greenwich.  You will also be able to enjoy the capital at night where you will have some free time to enjoy yourselves.

July 13 (Friday)


After we are all on board we will take a lovely drive to Oxford, to embark on a peaceful 2 hour cruise down the River Thames to Abingdon.

July 14 (Saturday)

After a leisurely breakfast we join our boat at Caversham Bridge in Reading for a gentle 2 hour cruise to the riverside town of Henly-on-Thames. There's time to grab some lunch and have a look around the town, famous for it's annual regatta. Then we have a scenic following the course of the Thames through Marlow, Cookham and Maidenhead.

July 15 (Sunday)

This morning we go to Kew . Around the ancient green you will find numorous pubs and restaurants to have lunch, or take a stroll round the famous Kew Gardens right there, where there are also good places to eat. We will then take a 90 minute cruise downstream to Westminster in the heart of London. After checking into the Hilton Doubletree Hotel, you are free to make your own dinner and entertainment arrangements in the capital.

July 16 (Monday)

The final river cruise is a 75 minute journey to Greenwich, passing many famous London sights including the London Eye, The Shard, The Tower of London and the Docklands. In Greenwich you will have time to explore - maybe look over the famous Cutty Sark tea clipper of the National Maritime Museum before one final surprise before we head home.
