Hampton Court Palace is a royal palace in the borough of Richmond upon Thames. The building of the palace began in 1515 for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, a favourite of King Henry VIII.

Henry VIII’s vast riverside palace is impressive and makes for a great day out. So marvel at the breathtaking grandeur of the State Rooms, see how they cooked in the vast Tudor kitchens, then stroll through over 60 acres of enchanting gardens; maybe lose yourself in the famous maze. Discover the Baroque Palace, full of intrigue and gossip from the Stuart and Georgian eras. Audio guides are included and costumed tours and talks happen daily.
