  • Wheelchair Access.

The upper section of Leonardslee Gardens i.e., entrance, restaurants, gift shops, Dolls House Exhibition, wallaby enclosure, and The Rock Garden, are wheelchair friendly. Access to the lower parts of Leonardslee requires using woodland paths which may not be suitable for wheelchairs, depending on the weather conditions. Please be aware that many of these slopes are steep and wheelchairs users may need assistance. We are currently trialing options to make our paths more accessible and will release more details as we make progress.

There are toilet facilities available for wheelchair users.

  • Food & Drink.

Clocktower Café & Farm Shop - Located at the top of the gardens, close to Leonardslee House, the Clocktower Café opens at 9am and offers a wide range of self-service refreshments. This includes a selection of hot and cold beverages, light lunches, cakes, and pastries. The farm shop features local produce from the estate and selected suppliers. There are breads, meats, cheeses, and condiments from which to choose, so you can create a delicious picnic to enjoy within the grounds of the estate. Gluten free and vegan options available.

    Courtyard Café -

The self-service Courtyard Café is an extension of the Clocktower Café and offers a range of snacks - including sandwiches, hot and cold drinks as well as a selection of cakes and pastries. It's the perfect place for some light refreshments before you are transported back in time at the ‘Beyond the Doll’s House’ exhibition, located next door. During the summer months, the Courtyard Bar is also open, so that you can enjoy a refreshing glass of wine after your adventures in the gardens.  Gluten free and vegan options available.
